Haunted Woods Battlemap Pack

One cursed wood. Dozens of consistent, on-theme maps.

The Haunted Woods pack generates tactical battlemaps and cinematic scenes for cursed, fog-bound forests: dead clearings and forgotten paths, burial grounds and cursed altars, ruined shrines and abandoned cabins, wrapped in mist, darkness and storm. One pack, many consistent maps, all built to run.

Not a single image. A whole cursed wood you can run.

Because it is a VISINVOKE Battlemaps pack, Haunted Woods is not a single image. It uses the same nine-part guided structure as every pack, so you can produce dozens of consistent, on-theme maps for one cursed wood, then shift the mood with mist, fog, low light, perpetual darkness, rain or storm without changing the tactical layout.

Everything shares one look, so a session that moves deeper into the forest still feels like the same place. Each generator can include up to 4,000 selectable options to choose from and over one trillion possible combinations, and the pack connects up into the Wilderness category, the Battlemaps system and the wider VISINVOKE platform.

Three beats of a haunted forest

The pack is shaped around how a cursed wood plays at the table, from the uneasy approach to the ambush.

The cursed approach

Forgotten paths and overgrown trails wind through mist and dead trees, setting the dread before anything happens.

The dread reveal

A dead clearing, burial ground or cursed altar comes into view, a hanging tree or ruined shrine marking the moment the threat becomes real.

The forest ambush

A shadow chokepoint or ambush clearing turns the twisted trees, roots and bone-littered ground into a tactical fight with limited sightlines.

Proof of the generator model

Same tactical layout, controlled mood variation

This is proof of the VISINVOKE generator model, shown through the Haunted Woods pack. From the same structured map direction, you can produce a consistent encounter space, then create a controlled variation by changing selected options, no need to restart from a blank prompt. The same repeatability and controlled variation run across every VISINVOKE image system. Here you can keep the same clearing and escalate its dread across a session.

Up to 4,000
Selectable options to choose from per generator
A deep structured choice library across layout, terrain, structures, props, hazards and atmosphere.
1,000,000,000,000+
Possible combinations
Over one trillion possible combinations per generator, so no two clearings have to look the same.
Mood shift
Layout held, atmosphere changed
Mist, fog, low light, perpetual darkness, rain or storm over the same map, for a controlled variation.
Change the atmosphere and keep the layout, and the clearing your party crossed at dusk becomes the same clearing under storm and shadow, a deliberate variation, not a brand-new map.
Your map workspace

Keep building from your saved Haunted Woods maps

Maps from this pack are not disposable one-off results. Every build you generate is saved in your account-linked Build Workspace, so you can return to recent builds, continue a build, duplicate and refine it, add it to a collection and save a preset for a recurring location. Builds from Haunted Woods can then be refined with Quick Edit rather than restarted from a blank prompt.

Recent Builds Continue Build Duplicate and refine Add to Collection Save Preset Quick Edit Animate where supported

Quick Edit: reopen a map build and adjust structured controls such as lighting, weather, props, atmosphere, scale, detail and output count to create a controlled variation. A recurring clearing or shrine can be kept the same and adjusted for a later session, a darker mood or a storm-lit reveal.
